Vaal Mall

The design of the 50,000 m2 regional shopping centre was guided by a brief to use natural elements from the area. The design evokes the sense of the flowing Vaal River in an industrial heartland.

Fairlands Office Development

The building houses over 5,000 people and was developed by a consortium including MDS Architecture. It is an iconic architectural statement located on the very busy N1 Western Bypass motorway of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs.

Commerce Square

This 5-building office parkwas planned around a landscaped spine that opens vistas to the Magaliesberg mountain range. Water is an important element in the design of these buildings, providing a very sophisticated office development on the edge of the upmarket suburb of Sandhurst.

Amani Place Offices

An 11-storey office building offering 12,000 m2 of GLA with a 7 storey parkade, the design of this office development evokes a feeling of grandeur with a prominent entrance and 6-storey glass curtain wall.

Somerset Mall

Built in three phases, this 67,000 m2 regional shopping centre adopts the traditional Cape vernacular on the exterior while possessing a contemporary interior.

Al Souq Madinat Jumeirah Resort

Developed in association with DSA Architects, the Madinat Jumeirah resort was designed with a deep commitment to traditional Arabic architecture, detailing and proportions. Al Souq represents a typical Arabic shopping street with merchant’s wares spilling out into the walkways, allowing shop owners to vie for shoppers’ attention.

Tsakane Mall

This regional shopping centre offers 32,000 m2 of GLA in an area where shoppers have not historically enjoyed much choice. It is a contemporary design that celebrates the luxury of space.

Woodmead Retail Park

Woodmead Mall is a 44,000 m2 shopping centre at the point of convergence of the M1 and N1 highways in Woodmead, Gauteng. Shoppers who explore the 493m long shopping centre have a sense of walking down a boulevard.

Morningside Shopping Centre

The two-level shopping centre offers approximately 10,500 m2 of GLA on a prominent site. The inspiration style is about subtle sophistication and minimalism with high quality architectural detailing specified throughout. This upmarket themed development is part of the greater Burj Khalifa precinct and comprises approximately 1,300 apartments, two hotels, recreational and retail facilities over a super basement.
